High Holidays 5782: Bring in a New Year with CBI! (Congregation Beth Israel, Scotch Plains, NJ)

Today is the day to start making your High Holiday plans. Rosh Hashanah begins the evening of Sept 6th which is Labor Day.

We are pleased to announce that Rosh Hashanah Day 1 & 2 as well as Yom Kippur services will be held in-person in the CBI sanctuary. Attendance will be limited to the first 600 people that register online through your CBI website account. Guest tickets will be available by contacting the office. Registration opens TODAY and will close August 2, 2021. If the demand for in-person attendance exceeds the occupancy level,  we will announce additional service arrangements. All services will still be available live streamed on the CBI website. As of now, masks will be required for all indoor in-person services. Youth programming will be available in-person at CBI on Rosh Hashanah Day 1, Day 2 and Yom Kippur.

Thanks to the help of our friends at the JCC, we are fortunate to be able to host Kol Nidre and Yizkor/Mincha/Neilah outside at the JCC once again this year. This was a moving and spiritual experience for all those that attended last year and we encourage you to register early. While there is no attendance limit, anyone wishing to attend must register via the website before August 2, 2021. In case of bad weather, the services will be moved to CBI and the first 600 that registered will be granted seats. Services will be live-streamed via the CBI website. No masks are required but encouraged for those not vaccinated or those that choose to wear one.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN.  Log on to the website at www.cbinj.org using your login and password. If you forgot your password, just click the forgot password button and follow the instructions. Once logged in, go to the High Holiday page to register for tickets. Information about youth programming will be available on the website in the coming weeks. Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the CBI office or email Aaron at CBIpresident@cbisp.org. Check back throughout the summer for information about community and special celebrations surrounding the holidays.

Enjoy your summer!
